Gardening Online.ie is owned and run by Dunsland Garden Centre. Dunsland Garden Centre has one of the biggest selections of outdoor plants to be found anywhere in Ireland. Dunsland is owned by Peter Dowdall. Peter has a lifelong passion for plants and sources the plants for Dunsland Garden Centre and gardeningonline.ie from all over the world with a particular emphasis put on sourcing top quality Irish plants where possible.
Peter Dowdall has over 20 years experience in gardening in Ireland and abroad. He is a regular on television, radio and in print throughout Ireland and the UK. His first gardening book is being published in Ireland in the Spring of 2010.
This website offers gardeners and non gardeners alike information on all issues related to gardening in Ireland through Peter’s blog and the gardeners forum. Peter hopes to attract a large online community of gardeners and people interested in gardening. Ireland is a country where gardening is beginning to really take off and in particular ‘grow your own’ kitchen gardening.
